When HGTV needed a Houston-area fence company that could deliver a custom build on a tight TV production schedule, they turned to 76 Fence. The team built the fences featured in three episodes of HGTV’s Worst Yard on the Block.

The Projects

Each episode called for a different build, all completed to the show’s compressed production schedule without cutting corners on craftsmanship.

Scrubs vs. Shrubs

This build took place at a home in Katy, Texas belonging to two Houston-area medical professionals. Our crew designed and installed a custom horizontal wood privacy fence, 76 inches tall.

The Feral Frontier

For this yard’s transformation into a safe haven, our crew installed a white French Gothic picket fence across the front yard.

Poison Paradise

To turn a hazard-filled yard into a safe, stress-free space, our crew built a cedar privacy fence along the side yard and a custom horizontal rail fence across the front.

Why HGTV Called Us

TV production doesn’t work around a normal install calendar – the crew, the cameras, and the homeowners are only on-site for a few days, and the fence has to be right the first time. That’s the same standard we hold every project to, on camera or not: real materials, correctly set posts, and a crew that shows up when we say we will.

76 Fence is not affiliated with or endorsed by HGTV. Worst Yard on the Block, HGTV, and related marks are the property of their respective owners.
